I'll be the first to say.. I'm disappointed Flowers I don't really care much about, but as an avid herpetoculturist (and captive rearing experience with more than a dozen species between me and my girlfriend) snakes make me drool!

I was all stoked to ask about a good location to go rattler spotting in the wilds of MN, still need to add any of those to my wild species-spotted list.

Field herping in MN is so much harder than when I lived in east Texas, unless you're after painted turtles. There are times when I miss water moccasins and copperheads.

Nice work, Ken! That last one does it for me, too.

I figured what it would be based on the title, but that also made me think of being a kid in and around LaCrosse and Prairie du Chien and the Mississippi bluff country. Plenty of timber rattlers on both sides of the river up in the bluffs.
