bklimek
Fishing wabana this weekend for the first time. Has anyone been out there recently and have a report. Any general areas I should seek first. It looks to be a pretty good sized body but has a few humps out there. Mainly looking to target smallies but if I can't get them to go I guess the green ones will work. Raider4ever
Even if you don't have a map/chip, just google map it and switch to satellite view and you can see the three humps right off the SE boat landing and a few more over by the big island. There are some more you can see over by Arrowhead point. As for green fish, I like to hit it up in the north end along the shoreline and reed beds. There are some good areas over by that campsite on the eastern shore. There are some more humps that you can't see on the google shot. Just be careful if you are motoring through between the big island and Arrowhead point. There are some Lower Unit eaters around. Except with the higher water you MIGHT be safe. I love that lake and wish I could get up there more often. Will be up that last weekend in Sept. or the first one in Oct.
