Droid X ---> upgraded to X2

Recommended Posts

I wore out my X, it was on its last legs, sort of.

I upgraded to an X2, and it's pretty neat how much faster, smoother interface, and longer battery there is.

I liked it so much better I upgraded my wife's HTC Incredible to an X2. She knows NOTHING about technology, but she can't stop talking about how much better her new phone is than her Incredible.

Just wanted to post this, as I know a few guys got an "X" when they first came out like me, and may be able to upgrade soon.

The guy at Verizon just swapped my memory card out, so I didn't have to transfer my pics or music to the computer, then reinstall on the new phone.

One thing though is that the apps don't want to transfer over, unless they were on the SD card (obviously) but even through AppBrain, it doesn't want to list all the apps I had on the X on the new X2.

wait for updates for the apps. Most likely there is a compatibility issue and since the phone is rather new the old apps probably need to be updated with the newer technology

I have an X and can't wait to get an X2. The X has been a great phone for me, but the X2 looks phenomenal!! Got about 9 months left on the contract..........

I have an incredible 1 from last year and am also amazed as to where the CPU processing power and phone capabilities have gone. Some of the apps are just great but there are some that I can live without...

That's the phone I upgraded my wife from, Incredible.

We mowed the local school district for 11 hours yesterday between 4 buildings.

Previously, she would have to start with a full battery, and it would be dead by lunch time just listening to the music she has downloaded to her phone.

Yesterday, with the X2, she started with about 3/4 battery life and ended the day without it beeping that the battery was getting low. That was 11 hours of constant music playing, plus her random texts and calls throughout the day.

Not to mention how much better the sound quality is through the headphones.
