Remington Choke Tubes

I have a smoothbore barrel - any suggestions for rifled slugs?

buy a box each of a few different brands and see what works best. for foster style rifled slugs, I've been liking the federal tru-balls and the high velocity remington sluggers lately. Breneke's are popular, and some guns will shoot the plain old 1 oz winchester super x "gas station specials" great as well. Plenty of options to help find the one that groups nice!

After shooting my 870 for gun hunting deer since 1986, I found the Remington Slugger 1 ounce works the best. Just try some and use a improved cylinder choke. 5" groups at 50 yards with a smoothbore is good! 2c
