Do you check the oil when it's hot or cold? Also heard your supposed to keep oil on the bottom 2/3 of dipstick cross-hairs.

Also. Seems like the power tilt/trim seems like it's lacking power lately.

Heck. What kind of maintenance checklist do you guys have?

Do you have the owners manual for this motor? If not I'm sure you can get it from Yamaha. It will tell you all kinds of things about your motor, how to run it and how to maintain it.

I'm guessing you might even be able to just download it. Maybe tonight!

What year is it? Things I do every season is change oil and filter, change plugs, check fuel filter and check level for T&T. I use my boat a lot so I change the oil in the fall before I put the boat away and then again about begining of July.
