River smallmouth really like them. It's a nice alternative to the standard jerkbait/slashbait.

Does it sit high enough in the water column that it's visible? So i can see the motion as i fish it?

Mine runs about 6 inches under the surface. Generally it's motion is pretty good once you have the rhythm down.

X raps haven't produced as much for me this year as in years past... I'm not really sure why.
