Resort Recommendations - Walker/Longville area

Recommended Posts

Folks,

I'm looking for a cabin rental for next week in the Walker/Longville area. It would be for my girlfriend, her parents, and her two twin 10 year old brothers. I'm not looking for anything on Leech, would rather stay at a resort on a smaller lake where wind won't be an issue for the family. They like to tube, ski, etc. Anyone have a suggestion for a good, reasonably priced resort in the area that is on a musky lake? I'll take recommendations on non-musky lakes, too, but I'd prefer not having to trailer my boat to fish skis!

Thanks for any advice! PM me if you would rather.

Pine ridge resort in longville it is on girl lake. and connected to the woman lake. there are muskies in woman and every so often a giant is caught off the dock of the resort. it is a great family resort. i would call Terry and see if he has any openings.

My Aunt/Uncle have a cabin on Girl Lake. Very nice area. Turtle races in Longville for the kids. Glad you thought of the name of the resort - I was drawing a blank. Plus there are a ton of other lakes in the area, but with Girl, Broadwater and Woman lake out the back door you won't want to leave. Woman Lake has a resort or two as well.

my uncle owns the resort and every year some youngster catches a 50" ski off the dock. i thnik for the past two or three years they have got one. he sure has turned that resort around to a nice family place to stay.

A friend of mine keeps going back to Little Boy Resort when he's up in that area. He seems to like it and there are Muskies, decent Pike, Smallies, and Walleyes in there. In addition, you can take the channel to Wabedo and get on another decent size Muskie lake.
