I hate this kind of weather.

I bought some size 15 panther martins and some nice sharp hooks for my center pin

and plan on hitting the Big Lakes Tribs more aggressively this year.

Anyone else like lake run browns and steel?

Hey Len,

I lived in Seattle for a couple years and use to do a lot of steelhead fishing, loved it! Best fish in the world to catch I think. It's what got me into trout fishing now that I moved back home to MN. I have only been steelhead fishing once here, I went to the Knife. I missed the run due to work, but went up hoping to catch a stragler in the river. It was a really windy night sleeping in my tent and the morning was freezing cold and snowing in May. It was a great expereince though, hopfully next spring I can get out as I usually spend my fall pheasant and grouse hunting. I wish MN trout was open past Sept 30, doe WI stay open later?
