Need instructions on drowning rigs

I want to make my own drowning rigs for coon and mink etc. What I want is the instructions on how to make the parts and how to put it together. Is there any video out on how to put these together?

You might consider a famous auction site and pick up a book on water trapping. Kinda tough to drown coon but rats and mink are easy. We just use the standard heavy guage wire, an "L" slider and a brick/block, a heavy water logged log or most times a properly secured stake/rod/post. Use use plenty of wire.

Buy them, I use a 5 or ten foot ready to go slide wire from mn trapline products, either staked or wieghted on the bottom

should say slide cable, come ready to go, and pretty cheap

Are those made of a cable or just a heavy wire? Do you have pictures of the L hook?

Cable go to the MN trapline products and look they have a very nice color catalog, basically they are a L with a hole on top.

Not sure where you are at in MN but the MN Trappers Assn is having their summer convention next weekend in Redwood Falls, you can get your drowner stuff and get some hands on instruction on using them etc, tons of stuff for sale plus demos on different things as well.
