Fall Walleye Classic on Pelican near Brainerd

Help us spread the word about a fun walleye tournament.

The Brainerd Walleye Alliance Fall Walleye Classic is next Sunday, September 21 on Pelican Lake (The Pelican lake just north of Brainerd, also near Pequot lakes). We will be based out of Breezy Point Resort.

We still have room for teams that are interested in fishing it. $100 entry per team for this one day tournament. Payout of over $4000 with a full field of 50 boats. We’ll have a 6 live fish limit per team.

Pelican lake is a fun lake to fish with lots of structure and a great population of walleye of all sizes. We hope you will consider coming to fish our tournament and learn about a new lake. We will release all live fish weighed.

The Brainerd Walleye Alliance is a chapter of the Minnesota Walleye Alliance, a conservation group dedicated to the improvement of walleye fishing opportunities, stocking efforts, habitat protection and more. We work with the DNR, lake associations and volunteer our time to things that help walleye populations. We do ask that one member of the tournament team become a member of the Minnesota walleye alliance. Membership is $20 annually for a great cause. You can become a member at the pre tournament meeting. Thanks for your time.
