Drag on my spinning reel question

Luck e 1

Question

I have a shimano señora reel that is about 10 yes old. I probably didnt back off the drag enough when i stored them enough so now It just feel like my drag is either very loose or very tight. I am wondering if there is anything that I can do so that my drag can hqve a little better range of tight to loose? Someone told me I may have to replace those little washers to make a dikfferece?

It might be a good idea to replace the drag washers if it's 10 years old. You will also need some drag grease to lubricate it, a thin film on both sides of the washers is all you need. You can get both through Shimano.

The drag grease alone may fix the problem, but since you're already getting the grease you may as well replace the washers. Be sure to clean up all the old grease before reassembly.
