Funniest stuff you see bears do at bait sight.

I had a bear that would come in a steal a apple one at a time and run like the dickens out of there. You could hear him crunching on it and after that he would sneak back in to grab another and run like crazy out of there etc. Once he ate all the apples he would come in like he owned the place and open up the bait and eat what he wanted!

Not bears but I watched a porcupine walk up to another porcupine at the bait while grunting at it. The second porcupine then stood on its hind legs and urinated all over the first one from about three feet away. My wife was sitting in the tree next to me and while stifling her laughter says "Take that b***h".

Another time I watched four chipmunks keep a badger busy chasing them around while they took turns at the bait. After an hour the badger left without catching one.

I had a 200 pounder crawl in on all 4 knees. He ate from one end then crawled to the other end. Ate what he wanted then crawled out of the clearing where he stood on all 4 legs and walked off into thick brush.

While in the proccess of hanging a scent sak, i tied the rope to a good solid chunk of branch about a foot long an 2 -3 inches thick. In one good baseball pitch i launched the throwing chunk of wood over the branch only for it come swinging back towards me, an taking out my twig an berries. Soar boar

I had a regular bear on a station so regular that he napped on my logs after he ate most everything with his head a foot away from a flash camera. I have pics of him sleeping while flash went off in his face repeatedly. Apparently they are like deer and don't mind a flash

Yeah Jay I had a bear on video that came in and ate all the gummie bears laying down on his side and picking up every piece with his tongue with his head side ways on the ground! Lazy to say the least!

Did he know you were there or not? Interesting how they got that sixth sense. How the frst thing they do when they come to the dinner table is look right at you 95% of the time.
