I have it in my boat for my rod holders. Very good stuff! I mounted mine with composite decking material for a backer. I have a 24" strip and my backer was close to 36" centered on the 24" Traxstech. I have ran 4 magnum dipsy divers- 2 on each side and never even moved or flexed the Traxstech. Cannon makes the same setup and look almost exactly the same. They make a strip to put in when you have it empty that make a a pad to step on but it is darn near as expensive as the Traxstech mounting track its self.

Oh, Jim brings up a good point. Get the walk strip so when its not in use you dont bend the edges pf the track some how. Its tuff stuff but things do happen and always when ya need it to work. Its well worth the cost if ya ask me.
