Broken Double Pane window?

Your house insurance may cover it, but it depends on your deductable, if it would even be worth claiming it. If the sash has a grid in the sash, you should just order a new one from the window manufacturer. If you had the house built, your contractor should have the info you need. If you don't know who built it, or if the windows are even originals, you may have to do some detective work....or get some expert help to get the right sash. The windows we used had a LONG number stamped right on the spacer between the two pieces of glass, that had ALL the info the company needed to remake a new one.

Where ever Knife lake is probably doesn't have a glass shop. YOu may end up having to take it out and take it to a shop and see what they can do. I had two go out. One I did myself and the seal failed pretty quickly. The shop did the other one in about 1/2 the time and there have been no problems.

I suspect that the total will be under $500 and so even if you have a lower deductible the insurance company may ding you on the premium if you file a small claim like that.

I know East Side Glass in St Cloud makes one brand of window,,and they can make double pane glass to fit....but I don't know if they can do the grids inside or not, or the argon gas thing. That is why I thought you should try to get one by the manufacturer. It could be worth your time to talk to them though.
