Progressive (Jacob's) Field

We're taking a family trip to PA and hopefully DC in August.

I see that the Twins will be at Progressive Field on August 12th, which just happens to be when we're heading out to the Brother-in-law's house.

I convinced the wife that we should stop in Cleveland and catch the game, figuring there probably won't be a ton of fans there, so we can get the kids circled by Bert.

Anyways, there's a Hilton right next door to the field that we're going to stay at.

Anyone been to a game there recently? If so, you have any hints or tips on where to catch a meal?

Looking at tickets, we can get some real nice seats for a fairly decent price.

Alice Coopers Town is right there, it's a nice tribute to baseball by a true American rocker who is a huge baseball fan. Great burgers.

Make sure you save some time for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just a few blocks away.

We won't have time for the R&R hall of fame. My wife's family is high military so we're going to get "special" treatment in DC.

It was everything I could do to get permission to stop in Cleveland.

We're leaving 4 am Friday morning (8-12) and will hopefully make Cleveland in time for the game.

We have tickets 4 rows from the Twins' dugout, and the kids made their own "Circle Me Bert" sign.
