UMC Posted June 1, 2011 Share Posted June 1, 2011 Big rains at this time of year are really not all that helpful to waterfowl. Nests get flooded out and cool, rainy weather is hard on duckling survival. They will re-nest however, and more water may increase the odds of those broods surviving.
