Scott K
After reading an article in the paper, I was thinking, how many season ticket holders are giving up their seats this year? A friend of mine, who is/was a season ticket holder said a few weeks back, the Vikings wanted his deposit for his seats. He didnt pay it, and let his good seats of many years go. He told me he is done with the NFL, times are hard on everyone, and all they can think about is how they can take more money from the fans. He told me that it was a hard thing to do, but the lockout was the last straw. He didnt want to pay his deposit, when he didnt even know if there would be a season this year. I just wonder how many more season ticket owners are dropping their tickets this year, and if it was because of money being tight, or just the lockout?I used to be a season ticket owner, I started buying them in 98, mid season, I kept mine until the Vikes flopped in 01. Since then I havent missed not going to every home game. I have still gone to a game a year at home, along with the away game at Packerville. For me, it was more of a, I dont want to waste an entire day a week in the fall on football anymore.
