holmsvc
I bought a 2000 Sylvan Viper with snap in carpet. The carpet could use replacing. Sylvan no longer carries the replacement carpet pieces. I am trying to find a place to get replacement pieces from. Is there any companies that make replacement pieces that I can just order from or am I going to have to find some where to specially make them for me. I am located 60 miles west of Fargo. Does anyone know of a place that would make me some replacement pieces? Also I am thinking I would rather have the vinyl flooring putting in rather than regular marine carpet. Any opinions on this? CAMAN
Most boat reapolsterers should be able to handle replacing the carpeting.
RebelSS
Cheapest way to go is use your old pieces for templates and cut new from a roll of marine carpeting...there are many grades available. A canvas shop can heat seal the edges for you, and install snaps. Upholstery shops are awful spendy, in my opinion. Replacement rubber type mats are even more spendy..I know there's a place in Georgia called Matworks that does replacement work, and I think Overton's can do custom work. Hope this helps a bit..... gregg52
i wonder if those new floor mat people could mold you a new covering for it might be alittle spendy but i bet it would be coolany thing is better than carpet i have snap in carpet to but its folded up in my garage rafters not sure if they can spray fiberglass on that or not all carpet does is hold the moisture in to rot your floorhooks stick in it and its filthy thats for sure i have a fiberglass white floor and it gets plenty dirty after a few outings i cant imagine how much dirt is in carpet after a year or 2bucket of warm water floor looks like new in 15 mins
