Lead warning on Lindy 6' Poly Stringer?

So I had to replace all my tackle after some punk stole my truck, smashed it into a bunch of parked cars in MPLS and then took all my fishing gear out of the locked topper. (Not relevant but I'm still griping about it).

I bought a bunch of replacement gear at Cabela's this weekend, one part of which being a cheap 6' poly stringer. My 4 year old son and fishing partner just loves stringers for whatever reason, so as I was unpacking the gear I let him play with it. Then I had to take it back when I read on the packaging the warning that the product contained lead. I cannot tell what part of the stringer would have lead as a part of it. Is it like peanut warnings, where it's been manufactured in a plant that also processes lead?

What gives?

Yeah, from what I've noticed Lindy puts a lead warning on everything they manufacture. Probably just easier that way in the off chance a speck of lead dust gets into the package, they have their butts covered.

Back in the 1990s the State of California initiated lawsuits against virtually every industry out there that had any lead in their products --- door and window companies and I can't remember who else came before hunting and fishing companies. These industries all settled with the State of California, and part of the settlement was that they'd pay money to California, and that they'd put the lead warning labels on their products. When this first came out in the '90s many of the warnings read something like 'this product contains lead which the State of California recognizes can be dangerous ...'. As time has passed many companies have found it easier (and/or safer and/or cheaper) to make the lead warning more generic (ie. not just California specific) and to put it on more products or all products.
