painting the ceiling

last week i primed my ceiling and im just woundering if you need to paint over it or can you just leave it primer?

that was what i was thinking, but im wondering if the primer would attract more dirt and dust than a painted surface. chad

You will be just fine with the primer if you are happy with how it looks.
