Keyless Remote Quit Working

2003 Toyota Seqouia keyless entry started working intermediatly, now does not work at all, have two remotes neither one works. Batteries in both are new. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Those darn Toyota's it's always something..

Last time mine wigged out I had a bad connection which I fixed by bending the tang inside the unit so it made better contact with the battery.

This happened in our 04 Grand Prix.

I found out there is a fuse for the keyless entry system.

I changes ours and it was back up and running.

They had a recall on this but you have to send the vehicle but to Japan to have it go through the "LEAN" process.

Dont think this is your problem because it sounds like none of your buttons work, but just incase.

The lock and unlock buttons (most used) quit working a while ago on the wife's 05 grand prix, so i took a small peice of aluminum foil tape, like you would use to seal your HVAC ducts, and stuck it to the back of the buttons where it contacts the circuit board. I cant imagine it is a permenant fix but it has worked for at least 6 months now. And for the price of a new FOB i can take 10 min. once or twice a year to 'refurbish' it.
