I was up in the UP last weekend for my nieces graduation from Michigan Tech and on the way to Copper Harbor for some sight seeing came upon this hugh snow depth ruler. Anyone ever seen this thing? shocked

I have never been there sleding in the winter but it must be crazy some years up there? crazyfull-27051-8477-picture159.jpg

I've been by that on a few rides with snow several feet deep. I can never figure out why they don't fix that thing. Leech you look like an average height guy approximatly 5'10 or so right? Why is the 5' mark over your head? And your standing on a rock to boot. If you were standing on the ground the 4' mark would be at eye level. That thing's a hoax.

Good point BW, I'm 5'8" and noticed that on the pic right off. And yes, I am standing up on some rocks around the base. Still pretty impressive snow fall up there! shocked
