Looking for a camper/campground

We(4WheelinMama) have been doing alot of searching of alot of different options and still haven't made up our minds yet, but next step is looking for a camper/cabin either on a campground or leased property.

Anyone have any suggestions/comments to watch out for? Ideas?

We really like wheeling, so that would need to be close by, we can trailer them.

We hate being controlled by the weather like now with tents and a toy hauler with gas situation, not really into the topic at this point.

Like to stay within 3 hours of our house(south metro).

Try Rutgers at Backus, MN. You get the fishing, location, 4-wheeling and it is 3 hours.

Check into the campgrounds on Oak Lake, mailing address Kerrick MN. There are two campgrounds on the lake, both offer daily or seasonal camping. Nemadji forest is a few minutes away, you can park in Duquette and ride from there. Just about two hours from south minneapolis.

There are a few campers for sale up at Wild Woods RV seasonal campground on Edwards in Brainard but they may go fast now that it is open for the year again. You can hit a lot of wheeling spots from there!

Rippin & 4 wheelermama did you ever find that camper you were looking for? There is a nice one for sale up at the campgrounds we are at and a few others for sale right now. It's up on Edwards lake a little out of Brainard. I'm not selling any just letting you know there are a few for sale there if you haven't found one.
