Heading into week 10 what the biggest suprise of the year?

For me it is the 48 car.

Jimmy's been a bit off, trust me, last weeks performance was far better than where he should have been. Running -2 laps for most of the race, catching breaks and finally getting his car back into the groove took a lot. He was struggling with finding a good line, having a bit of a run in with Keslowski only made it tougher. But they pulled it together and got a top 10 finish with a car that wasn't a top 20 when he started. They still have it, not many drivers can pull that performance out like they did.

I have a feeling that some of these Young Guns are gonna start showing the old guys up though on a consistence basis. Richmond was full of Anti-Busch fans, but they still gave him credit as prolly the best driver out there, which is very true. Kid can drive, he proves it weekly. Hamlin is yet another threat to be taken serious. The tides are slowly changing.

Dave Blaney is a bit of a nice surprise for the lower ranking cars.

i think the 33 could be a very strong contender this yr as is the 18

JR nation is much alive...A win will bring it all back. he's holding steady in points, making the best he can out of the setups he's got. More consistency this year than anything, which is good to see. Just needs that win to break the ice.
