Looking for some way to tie my boat to the dock with out it hitting the dock I have them white bumppers but they don't work that good

Try those fiberglass whip things. I think big C has them or BPS.

Are you sure that you're using them correctly? If they don't work well then you may need to shorten/lengthen the rope so that they actually create a buffer between your boat and the dock.

Now, if your issue is that the boat puts stress on the dock when big waves or wakes go by, then that's a different issue but it's not clear from your initial post.
