Crawlers are out today!!!!!

Just drove down the road from my place in Plymouth, wow are there crawlers out today. I picked up several dozen in about 20 min. Whats the best way to keep them alive. I have never kept so many at a time. I have them in dirt right now, thinking about going to pick up some crawler food. Any advice?

they sell some good stuff like at FF and other places. just follow the directions and keep them cool. keeping them cool is most important. good luck.

Pick up a cheap styrofoam cooler or just use a styrofaoam minnow bucket, along with the crawler bedding and you will be able to keep them alive for at least a couple three weeks. If they stay cool.

Thanks guys, ya I have them in the fridge in dirt and I was thinking about going to FF today and picking some bedding up.

So how long can you keep worms alive w/ th frabil bedding from FF? How often do you have to change the bedding or do you put some sort of food in there? Thanks

They were all over my concrete driveway today. I have never seen so many out.

get some bedding keep um cool and covered. they do have worm food. sprinkle on top and they eat it up. coffee grounds also help..dunno why but they do...just keep um cool or they are mush

Haven't picked crawlers since I was a kid, it was fun going out in the dark with flashlights at grandpa's house.
