If Mallet ends up being a better QB than Ponder, this will be the drafting boondoggle of the century. Vikes take a QB in the 1st round that is out-played by the QB the Patriots use with the Randy Maw 3rd round pick. Priceless.

With Mallet sitting behind Brady it may take five plus years to ever know. Mallet will be a first contract back up. Then we will see. Queens can then sign him as a free agent. Might as well let him get sit behind a good QB and have a superior coaching staff coach him up.
