Got a new I pilot and reading the instructions it isn't clear how one removes recorded tracks from memory or for that matter spot lock from memory. This is on a factory installed power drive w/ I pilot.

You just re-record a new one, it replaces the old.

Ok, Thanks, one other question re. the battery in the remote. Any ball park number on how long it will last? I fish alot, about 20 days a month. Do you carry an extra battery in the boat.

I carry two, and I wish I fished 15 days a month.

I fish alot and I'm still on my first battery from the start of last year. But I did buy a spare for this year. Would be sad if it went dead at the begining of a day or anytime for that matter.

A good idea to have a spare I think. Took it out on Tonka today and put it threw the test and it worked as advertised. It was a little windy so recording a track was a challenge but the spot lock and cruise control were great.
