Raw meat?

I've read alot about not feeding your dog raw meat. Anyone have any insight on this? Wasn't raw meat the mainstay of wild dogs?

I fed my twelve huskies a mix of raw ground turkey and kibble. Most mushers feed some sort of meat, not just for health benefits but also because it can be cheaper than the kibble. Google B.A.R.F. and check out some of their info. Don't need to follow it to a tee but it gives you an idea of feeding raw food.

I eat raw meat, how the heck can it be bad for a dog?

no wild dogs ate kibble and bits....

My dog seems to feel better after a stew meat meal.

my dog loves pork chops, hamb, burger, steak, chicken, liver, chipmunks, baby rabbits, mice. he gets a variety. He doesn't like pickles though. he takes them off his cheese burgers I buy him and then eats the rest.
