81' 25 horse johnson leak

Any Ideas what is wrong here ... its a slow leak been sitting all winter.

Looks like it's too high to be lower unit oil. If it has a gassy and burnt smell to it then it is the unburnt 2stroke oil dripping out one of the exhaust ports or if it is just a gassy smell you have a a slow fuel leak and the fuel has evaporated and left the 2stroke oil behind. My guess would be the latter judging from the location.

It's too high to be the lower unit. Look at the "Trail" coming down from the mid cowling. It's running down from your exhaust ports and "Pooling" on the upper portion of the lower unit.

Exhaust and gas and oil mix. Clean it off and go fishing.
