skeeter owners please help!

Question

I just bought a 2001 1775 tiller and the only way that works to fill the big livewell in the front is to fill the small baitwell above it with the drain out so it leaks into the livewell under it. Is this the only way to fill the livewell or is mine missing something? thanks for your help.

Your post caught my eye as a fellow Skeeter owner, but I'm not familiar with the '01 1775. I am familiar with the Skeeter Customer Service though. They've been very good to me. Try calling them. They'll help you solve your problem if somethings wrong. good luck...

Mad-man.. That's too funny. I thought the same when I bought mine used and I also thought, who was the nitwit that thought up this configuration!!

It's a bad design in my opinion but at least I found I could fill mine separate from using the baitwell not have to let the baitwell drain to fill it. My bow livewell has a water shutoff so I can turn it off so there's no chance of water getting into if I use it for storage. If you look in it you'll see where you turn the the spigott on/off. Or at least that's what I remember since it's been over 6 months since I've been in it!
