toddb
Looks like I got lucky on drawing a deer combination this year. First time ever drawing that tag with no points... Wonder if the price increase upped the odds? Anyways, I got something to look forward to the week before Thanksgiving Anyone else luck out with no points? superbee
Our group drew deer tags with no preference points. I think the tag increase also increased the odds of drawing.
PFUNK
Not for sure on this because I am a student here now and went through the process of gaining residency, but I thought that because they did away with the outfitter sponsored tags, there were that many more regular combination tags to be had. I was bummed when I read about the increase in prices for nonresidents, but glad to hear you are having an easier time drawing. They really take care of their residents here, just unfortunate they do so at the expense of nonresidents. I think I paid $97 for elk, deer, bear, upland game, fishing, archery permit, and the conservation and state lands permits this year.
