Sunday lure give-away?

So my girlfriend bought us tickets to Sunday's Twins game (starts ~1 PM). Luckily it's a lure giveaway day for the first 5,000 attendees! My question is how early should we show up to virtually guarantee that we will be one of those 5,000?

I'm looking forward to our first series win of the season!

7 PM the night before the game

Seriously- 7 am I think you would be ok, but there will be a few people there all night I bet.

I have an Eric Milton lure hanging in my garage, I remember that night well, we showed up 5 minutes before the game started and got one. Times have changed I guess

No need to get up early to beat me. I'll be drinking beers on the plaza while you stand in line. Bet I can google one up come Monday if I find them fetching.

I've only been to two twins games so far, but do they really get 5,000 people in the doors more than an hour before first pitch?

Get there three hours before game time and you should be good. We've gotten most of the bobbleheads given away the last several years and three hours early seems to be good, that's an hour before the gates open.

Was at the game on Saturday and we were around a hour or so early...I would have to say there were plenty more than 5000 people already there. And it was a gloomy, cold day. Give people the warmth and sun, and more will show up even earlier to experience all there is.

Well I got off the light rail a half hour before gates opened, no issues at all with crowding. I could have arrived a half hour after opening and still gotten one

Batting practice was pretty fun, I had 4 hit way close to me in the 2nd tier in left field. The weather was amazing, and the win was even better!
