Minnesota high school player Alex Lyon of Baudette is rank 23 in North American goaltenders. It will be interesting to see where he decides to go to the next level of hockey.

Thanks Wild for winning two in a row and jumping from 9 to 10. We could really use a lotto win here and jump up 4 spots but more than likely we suck and a team behind us will win.

Well they did knock Dallas out of the playoffs. That's worth something in my book, good win.

Honestly this team needs to dump some veterans and start over with young talent. Gonna be tough to do though. Hoping they get a decent pick, fingers crossed.

I never got over the North Stars leaving Minnesota either. It was a nice win for the Wild.

Me too, deep down inside, I'm still very bitter about it.

On the up side, there's a 2.5% chance that we will get to pick #6!

The Oilers have a ~50% chance at #1. That's two #1s in a row. Guess who is going to be good in 2 years...

Honestly, I don't like the idea of a lotto anyway. Just give the worst team the best pick and be done with it. Lotto's a waste of time...unless you win it I guess.

I think the whole purpose of the lotto is to keep teams from tanking it at the end of the year, sure they do it anyway but at least they know they won't be locked in to #1 if they suck bad enough.
