New Rod Case...

Thought I'd show everyone the new rod case from Stone Legacy. Its designed for break-down rods and can also be used for ice fishing. Here's a few pictures of Ray Esboldt and the new case, maybe Ray can fill us in a little more about the case...

Thanks for posting the pics, Matt!

Everything I have seen from Stone Legacy has been top shelf stuff. This case is definitely not an exception. It's a great rod case for a canoe trip to the Boundary Waters or leaving behind the seat in your truck in case a fishing trip breaks out over lunch. It's designed to fit two 2-piece rods with the reels in tact. Plus, there's a small pouch for tackle and assorted gear.

This product is not available on the Stone Legacy site yet. But, give them a call 1-888-858-4826 for more information.

You should recieve your order no later than November 1st. The Revolution is a sweet case, you will like a lot. I just had mine out the other day, one of my favorite pieces of equipment that I take on the ice with me. Never too early to start thinking about ice! smile.gif

I've had your typical walleye reels attached to a rod inside the Revolution without any problems. Right now I have 6 rod/reel combos in my Revolution and I've had a total of eight at one point this past winter. The new and improved Revolution is a little bit longer than last years and it can hold a slightly longer rod.

taxman,
How's the Mississippi treating you? I spent a few hours out there this past weekend and fishing was a little tough. Managed some smallies and a cat, but that was about it. Should be a fun time come Aug 29. smile.gif I know wastewater has something up his sleeve...

If you are looking for a rod case that will hold a 7 foot rod, look at the Ready Rig Series. They have great rod case and you can get them in different sizes. They will carry 1-3 rods depending on the size. They also protect the reels and any attached lures.

Matt -

Not been out there yet as work has been tough the last two weeks and my partner has the boat. In 2+ years I will have mine so I can go out alone and not rely on someone else...

Been hearing that there is a good pike bite right now, partner was out 2 weeks ago and he said they caught a few legals.

Those pesky Cat's might be the kicker this week!

See you next weekend
