CIBL!!

When you say
"Although the salmon are dying and not in the best of shape, fall run fish allows fishermen the chance at fish they usually cannot access without a boat. Even though these fish are dying, they're not dead yet!"

You mean numbers wise they are getting low?

What I mean is this, normally trout and salmon require a boat, lots of equipment, deep water.
Fall fishing requires minimal equipment, a pole, handful of tackle, shoreline.
When I say "Even though they're dying, they're not dead yet!"
What I mean is, even though dying, a salmon will still put up a heck of a fight on light tackle! Small water + big fish = lots-o-fun! smile.gif

can it be luck You are right about the fishing in Marinette WI we fish that area every fall and the fishery is fantastic! the Menominee river by the power plant is where the biggest fish I have ever caught in fresh water are. That puts a big smile seeing those pictures from the Little. Metro
