mhines
Lets see how good you are at propeller I.D...........The motor is a 1990 15hp Mercury tiller. The only numbers on the prop are this A12L105p.I'm looking to find the size and pitch, in case i need to replace, or change it.I just bought this motor, and am trying to figure everything out! Thanks
boatfixer
Either a mercury original with about 6 digits missing or an aftermarket I cant cross ref.Based what I've seen its a 10 1/2 pitch. If its an aftermarket, the other digets Im not sure.... "A" could mean aluminum, "12" could be splines or diamter (high thrust props have lager diamters)Can you post a picture?
dan z
I read that as a 12" prop dia w/ a 10.5 pitch

CAMAN
A 12 inch prop on a 15hp motor? Seems pretty big to me.
boatfixer
High thrust props are large diameter
morepower02
The 1990 merc 15 does not have a BigFoot high thrust gearcase. It should be a 8 spline prop. A 12" diameter would most likely hit the cavitation plate. Your prop is a 9x10.5p
