FLASHER QUESTION

I have a bow mount Eagle fish finder which is powered by the same battery as my Mnkota trolling motor. When I am running the trolling motor I also get a fish readout on my Eagle which appears to be magnifying the actual fish picture. When I disengage the trolling motor then I get a real time readout. I really don't want to put another battery up front just for the Eagle, any suggestions....Thanks.

run wires back to your starting battery if you have one. If you only have the one buy a vex type battery for the flasher.

you never want to run a fish finder or flasher off your trolling motor battery. doing so will cause interference on the finder or flasher.

Thanks guys, kinda figured I should not have hooked it to the troller. Any idea how long I would be able to run that flasher on the Vex battery? I would expect it should last as long as my Vexi does in the winter. I'll change that around today.

On a decent 12V Vex battery, you should get 6-8 hours no problem. Good luck!

Thanks again. I'll just need to put new slide on ends on the connections and that should take care of the problem. I have a charging system set up right on my lift so charging won't be a hassle either....
