Leader Knots

When useing a fluoro leader do most of you use a barrle swivel or tie directly line to line? If you tie line to line what knote do you use? When i have tryed to tie from braid to fluro i can never get my knots to grab, and thought well wouldent a barrle swivel me easer?.

I think its called a uni to uni knot I use. it helps to use lines that are very close in similar diameter. Makes tying it easier. do a search for fishing knots and you can find a few good sites with step by step instructions and illustrations.

I like the blood know but the uni to uni works too. Reverse albright is not for me though

I use back to back uni knots.

Back 2 back uni for tying braid to flouro and blood knot for tying braid to mono. My brother uses small swivels for his leaders and he seems to do quite well. I think if you are confident in it - use it.
