Still have lots of ice yet.. But, did get a bit of rain today that will drain through and weaken it. Suppose to get cold this coming week again though.

Ice will be around a bit yet.

Is it pretty much a no-go for ATVs/Sleds in Chequamegon Bay? (for this upcoming weekend)

Lots of ice around from Red Cliff into the Bay yet.. Probably wont have ice out until mid to late April in these parts.

Sand Bay west, ice is floating around, but pretty much gone.. Landings are still icy though. Port Wing is usable.

Sitting in Ashland looking out at the bay, there is lot's of open water around the break wall. But if you stay out from it, there's still lot's of ice. 4 wheelers all over the bay. I also seen that the ferry is running, just straight outand straight back. Not sure why.

Jim with the lack of snow up here this winter{ none on the ground now} what's that going to do for the spawn, with a low run off? Also why does the water look so low?

Batteries are topped up in the basement and I've "summerized" my ice rods. Too early?...maybe. But I'm looking foreward to my early Spring spots in the boat already. This milky ice that a good wind is about to pulverize is making me look ahead. If I was in N. MN I would be singin a different song.
