I got to listen to the race on the way home from the lake.

Sounded like the track was alittle different then what we are use too.

Its been boring since they resurfaced it and today was no different. They ruined what was once one of the crown jewels of the circuit. The attendance today reflected that too. Lots of open seats.

i thought it was an ok race

specially the last 30 laps or so

as far as fan in the stands

people just have to accept nascar peaked and when it did

everybody got greedy and put seats every where they could put them

so now cuz it doesnt sell out every one thinks nascar is going belly up

any time you are drawing 100k (or over) a week i think you are doing ok

the indy owners would be tickled to death to draw half that

I thought the race was ok too. The big difference for me was that it seems like the driver's are playing nicer than they used to. Not too much bump and running went on out there yesterday like they use to years ago. Carl had a perfect chance to do it for the win and didn't - which was really a surprise considering it was Kyle Busch.

ya since they changed the banking the bum and run has kinda

disappeared

cuz that was the only way to pass sometimes...now the steeper bankin is making that 2nd lane faster

and i think if you have a faster car than the leader

the 99 admitted he wasnt as good as the 18 or the 48 most of the race

i thought it was good racing for the most part

now this week at california could get boring and turn into a fuel race
