Farley
Mounted next to the transducer, what the heck is it? Pretty sure the long part used to be down flush with the bottom of the boat, now its stuck in the up position (after my grandpa's buddies dropped the boat off the trailer on the concrete last year). Could be for an Eagle or Lowrance, we've had both on the boat in the last 8 years or so.

Farley
Dont know, the GPS speed works, dont think we've ever tried using the surface speed or whatever setting. I'm just going to trash it then. Thanks Valv.
Dale Rueber
From the picture I cant tell for sure but it looks like a pickup for your speedometer that is tipped up. Is the cable running from it just an air line, i.e. no wires? If this is what it is it should run up to your speedometer.
Kyhl
Another picture from the side view might help.

CoorsCaptain
Its the Speedo pickup tube. Make sure the other end is hooked up to your dash speedo or water will leak in your boat.
