woops my bad

Man its all good. Doesn't hurt anything to start a new thread. Welcome to the site hope the info you find on here helps ya out. I started out using a spinning reel which was a Cabelas Salt Striker with the clicker option. I personally have grown custom to bait casters.

Kevin they don't make the Salt Striker anymore with the clicker...at least according to the guy at Cabela's. I wanted that reel bad too.

I use the Okuma Avenger bait-feeder which is affordable (50 bucks or so) and has a clicker. I like it better for big Flatheads more than my 6600 baitcaster.

oh dont worry nick ill get a set up that can handle abuse i just dont want it to be my 6600 c4, btw i ordered the stuff today could be a week or two so i get free shipping but i dont think we will be fishing any time soon so no big deal

if I am using a 7000i in the sand your 6600 will be fine smile
