Topper recomendations?

Recommended Posts

I just placed my order for a new 2011 f150 yesterday. it should be here in a couple months. Now in the mean time I am working on assessories. To start things Off I want a nice topper for hauling all my fishing and hunting stuff. I am so sick of not having dry storage for my gear. As of right now I am looking at the Leer 100xl is there another topper I should give a look to? Whats everyone else have?

Plenty happy with my ARE "Z" series.

I've got an picky friend that researched and asked around extensively. He decided ARE was the way to go & has really liked it....I also did some lookin around and comparing. Leer might have been a bit cheaper, but I felt the quality / finish was a bit better with the ARE. I see alot of Leers out there that lood great, and I'm sure they're a good cap. I don't think you'd go wrong with either. Snug-top, although more $$, makes an excellent cap as well (probably the best, according to those in the know.)

I agree with the "I don't know how I ever got along without it" quote. Love the protection and look. Good luck...

Just put a new ARE on my New F150. Looks good and price was right. Installed , lights, clamps, sliders on side. It is the "V" series, the least expensive one, $1000.00 and change. With the sports show coming up, somebody will have toppers on sale.
