An adhesive for rod repair?

I have an ice rod with a small structural deficiency. A graphite strand is poking out from the blank at the third guide. The rod still loads well, but when at rest there is a slight limpness from the weak spot to the end. I believe I can still fish this rod effectively, my question is what could I use to repair it? An adhesive to bring that strand back to the blank? Something else?

have you ever wrapped guides on a blank before? If so, I would try a small wrap like you are wrapping a guide w/o the guide and apply finish to the wrap. It may be best however to just fish it as is until it breaks and get a new one. Does it have warranty? If so that would be an even better option....

True but its so close to the tip (3rd guide) that you'd still have a lot of rod left to fight a fish if it broke, in fact most of the backbone. I think I'll be trying a wrap first.

I have a tiny amount of epoxy left, Not even enough for me to do more than one small guide. So I will be getting new stuff if you would like to use this stuff for your repair. I could also loan you my redneck rotisserie rod drier so you can rotate this rod to have a fluent epoxy repair.
