Dehumidifier

I have a Hampton Bay dehumidifier that freezes up after approx 5 hours of run time. Winter/summer, it doesn' matter. The filter has been washed off and same results. Any thoughts anybody?

Make sure coil is clean... could be a little low on freon.

Not enough moisture in the air maybe or set at too high of a setting. In the summer my dehumidifyer will ice up if it is set too high cause there isn't the moisture in the air for it at that setting.

Use compressed air to clean the coil??

get it off the floor!!!! the floor is way to cold this time of year for it to run properly. lay a plank across your laundry tub and sit it on there and it will do just fine.
