Extra stuff for the duluth big jig?

The big jig is tomarrow. my dad and i were thinking about what else to bring to the big jig. Any ideas? I have my gear(ice fishing poles,lures, sled,pole holder,and ice scoops.)

Bait, beverage of choice, lucky rabbit foot, four leaf clover, horse shoe, etc. Maybe you or your dad will win a flasher. You better bring a camera so you can post a picture of you accepting your prize.

Warm clothing, Great warm waterproof boots, some waxies or pieces of crawlers to put on the bottom for a sucker to inhale so another Big Jig can be won by a ruff fish.

The big jig was today and it was nice. My dad and i tryed every kind of presntation. No luck. My dad said that out of 3000 ice fishermen. 5 out of 100 chance.

sounds like you forgot to bring your ice fishing formula. Goes something like:

I was at the Big Jig today also. It didn't matter what lure you were using. I threw every presentation at them today in all different sizes. I didn't get a single bite in 31' of water

Oh ya, Where were you? I was right by the edge of the contest area. My dad and i are thinking of not doing the big jig next year.

I was about 40 feet in off the edge nearest to the road. I was about 75 feet before the weigh-in tent. Yeah idk if I'll be doing it next year either. This year was a lot better then last year though even though I didn't catch a fish this year. Just the weather this year made it better then last year.
