Dave S
As onlyice mentioned about trail miles, if there's 2K trail miles on the machine it's hardly broke in yet. There's some out there that have over 45K miles on them and still going strong.
crappiegetter
With any machine its life highly depends on the way you maintain it. You can ride a machine hard or on the trail as long as you keep up on maintaining it they will last. Guys I know have 10k + on sleds and still have the original motors. I know a few guys that have seen 30k plus on sleds which is unreal to have that many miles on the motor. But most guys with sleds will dump them for new ones around 4500 to 8000 miles just do to the fact they think it is high miles for the motor. I would think atv's would be the same. Macgyver55
Almost at 10,000 on my wheeler, (Honda Foreman) 100% original engine. And my sled (Ski Doo) has around 12,000 with one set of pistons and rings. I dont hesitate to go anywhere with either of them anytime.
