Vaceum packer - repair or replace?

I have a 6 or 7 year old foodsaver that is acting up on me, it sucks air but won't seal the deal. Has anyone had one of these fixed? Where, how much, etc? I was kid of expecting to buy a new one, but when I checked the Cabelas catalog the best model (stainless steel, of course) from last year is no longer there. There is, of course, an even MORE expensive one from ARY, anyone know this brand? Any thoughts on repair or replacment are appreciated.

Travler, CALL the COMPANY! A buddy of mine at work tried to vacuum pack some liquid soup, needless to say, it didn't work. He sucked in some juice and rendered the packer useless. Well, he called the company and they said package 'er up and send 'er to them. They DID take care of it. In the form of a replacement packer! His was 4 or 5 years old and bought through Cabela's. Good Luck.

Get a new one. Most of those companys arent as easy to get along with. I have a old one and its starting to break down. When it dies Ill just go get the biggest/best one I can find. They are awesome arent they?
