FL-20 Open Water

I have an fl-20 and was thinking about mounting it to the boat for summer fishing. Was wondering if anyone has some feedback on this, also what kind of transducer you used (alumaducer, puck, high speed). Also, has anyone attached the transducer to the trolling motor and how did it work out for you? Thanks in advance.

I bought the dual beem for the trolling motor and I love it....i have a different unit for the back of the boat but I loved using it this summer.....it picks up the fish and depth just like in the winter.

At one point I did have the FL-18 for my only depth finder and I had the highspeed ducer that I bought seperate for $60. (I bought the Pro Pack years ago)

I put the FL-18 on the bow now. I bought a Minnkota that had the ducer built in. Most of the time it's in low power mode to shoot through the weeds so I can get a true bottom instead of seeing weeds (when I'm shallow)
